What Does Calendly Do?
Calendly links up with your online calendar so you can send a booking link to anyone you like.
Calendly allows you to create a variety of event formats, including one-on-one meetings, group meetings, meeting polls, and much more.Â
Each event type can be customized with the meeting location or type. Meet in person, over the phone or use popular video conferencing programs like Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams.
You can also limit events so that they may only be booked within a specific date range. Either that, or simply choose the next few days or weeks so that people can book upcoming empty slots in your calendar.
If you’re working in a team, you can also provide a number of team members’ availability so that appointments or meetings are booked at a time that everyone can attend.
Why We Love Calendly
We use Calendly pretty much every day and it makes booking meetings with clients and within the team SO much easier.
The user experience is slick and intuitive for both the person setting up the appointment and the person choosing a time to meet. It allows for anyone with the link to view your availability, match it up with their own and complete a booking in just a couple of clicks.
You can get creative working with Calendly and its custom workflows. Automate communication before an event so your attendee knows what to expect and can provide additional information if needed. You can also create automatic text or email reminders for your meeting attendees to reduce the number of no-shows.
Another great feature of Calendly is the ability to connect it with a payment processor like Stripe. You can easily charge a fee for booking a call or appointment which is a handy tool for professionals or those who provide online services by the hour.
